Safety instructions
This elliptical is a speed-independent training device of class SA according to DIN EN 20957-1/9.
Maximum load capacity: 150 kg.
The elliptical may only be used for its intended purpose.
Any other use is unauthorised and potentially dangerous. The importer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper use.
You are training with a device that has been designed according to the latest safety standards. Possible sources of danger that could cause injury have been eliminated as far as possible.
To avoid injuries and/or accidents, please read and follow these simple rules:
Children, pets and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities (e.g. partially disabled or elderly persons with disabilities) or a lack of experience and knowledge should not be allowed near the appliance or play with it.
Regularly check that all screws, nuts and handles are tight and that no other damage is visible.
Replace defective parts immediately and do not use the appliance until they have been repaired. Such a replacement may only be carried out after consultation with the service department or by a specialist.
Avoid high temperatures, moisture and splashes of water.
Read the operating instructions in full before using the appliance.
The appliance requires at least 1 metre of free space in each direction.
Place the device on a firm and level surface.
Do not exercise immediately before or after meals.
Have a medical examination before starting a training programme.
The level of safety can only be guaranteed if wearing parts are checked regularly. These are marked with * in the parts list.
Exercise equipment must never be used as play equipment.
Whenever training is interrupted, the emergency stop key must be removed to prevent the device from starting unintentionally.
Do not wear loose clothing, but suitable training clothing such as a tracksuit.
Wear suitable sports shoes and do not train barefoot.
Ensure that there are no other people in the vicinity of the device to avoid injury from moving parts.
Do not set up the device in damp rooms (e.g. bathrooms) or on balconies.
Ensure that the device is properly earthed during training. Unsuitable earthing can lead to an electric shock in the event of a malfunction.
Repairs in the motor area may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Keep sufficient distance between the power cable, the device and hot sources.
Position the appliance so that you can clearly see other people in the vicinity.
Keep the packaging film away from children - risk of suffocation.
Risk of electric shock: A faulty electrical installation or incorrect mains voltage can be dangerous. Only connect the appliance if the mains voltage of the socket matches the specification on the rating plate. Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged or if the mains cable or plug is defective. Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands. Only pull the plug out of the socket directly by the mains plug, never by the cable.
The appliance complies with the requirements of EN ISO 20957-1/9 Class SA. The CE marking refers to the EC Directives 2014/30/EU and 2014/35/EU. Improper use of this device (e.g. excessive training, incorrect settings, etc.) may result in damage to health. Before starting training, a general medical examination should be carried out to clarify any health risks.
